Schools Out For Summer! Parents, it's good news and bad news.What are you going to do with your kids? Sure you can take a family vacation, plan some camp time, but then what? Children have been deprived of some much needed fun, and with Covid restrictions in California lifting June 15th, this seems like the ideal time to live again! The only caveat is that some business will still operate part-time due to limited staff, and advance reservations will still be required at many venue so plan ahead!

Here is your June Calendar Planner!

FREE-Wednesday June 16, Visit The Children's Pool La Jolla 

834 Coast Blvd S. La Jolla

We love The Children's Pool in La Jolla. The water is a beautiful clear Mediterranean blue. It's protected by a seawall, so you can swim without strong currents. This beach has a lifeguard station with an active lifeguard on duty. Harbor seals swim here, but if you keep a safe distance from them, you can both enjoy the beach. Bring a bite to eat, and picnic in one of the beaches Belevederes. Then head down for a swim.

$10 Thursday June 17th Visit Belmont Park

10 Tickets for $10, Annual Passes, and Unlimited Day Wristbands Available For Purchase. The Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, bumper cars and more, Belmont Park is a real Socal experience located on Mission Beach. It's a great place to play, soak up the sun, or grab a bite to eat. There's no better way to usher in summer.

June 22nd, Tuesday Visit The New Hummingbird Habitat @ The San Diego Zoo

The Plunge Pool is the largest salt water pool in the world holding 355,000 gallons of water. The 60 foot by 175 foot pool was designed after the Spanish Renaissance-style buildings in Balboa Park built in 1915 and 1916. History aside, your kids will love the obstacle course! The OB Street Fair & Chili Cook-off Festival will be in the 4800 – 5000 blocks of Newport Avenue, along the waterfront and in the pier parking lot.
