Kids Get a Free Book @ Barnes and Noble This Summer
Prevent the summer slide by encouraging children to read over the summer break. Download a reading journal Here. Children must read eight books and log them in their Barnes and Noble Reading Journal, by listing the books they read and describing their favorite part of each book. Free Entry to The New Children's Museum June 22nd
June 22nd, 2019 is Mass Creativity Day @ The New Children's Museum an all-day outdoor celebration of art, creativity and community called Mass Creativity Day held at the park across from the Museum on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 9:30 am-3 pm. Get a Free Book @ 3X3 Children Book Author Reading
All Inclusive Literacy Event: 3 Authors, 3 Hours, 3 Times the Fun!
Local authors will entertain children with a book reading and related activity or craft. Each child that attends the event will receive a free book, donated by San Diego Family Magazine while supplies last. This FREE event is hosted by the Special Needs Resource Foundation of San Diego. Meet authors: Salina Yoon: Be A Friend; My Kite Is Stuck, Andrea Zimmerman: All Buckled Up; Trashy Town, Sally Pla: Benji, the Bad Day, and Me; Stanley Will Probably Be Fine. Free Museum Entry for Military Families NEA Blue Star Museum Program
Each summer since 2010, Blue Star Museums have offered free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserves. For a complete list of participating museums visit: https://www.arts.gov/national/blue-star-museums/list
Free Admission to SeaWorld San Diego for Military Members
SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment salutes those who serve through their "Waves of Honor" program. Active duty, Reservists, and National Guardsman (and three direct dependents) can obtain one free admission to any of its amusements parks each year, including Busch Gardens.
The military member does not need to be present for dependents to participate in the program. All eligible individuals must register online or at the park to take advantage of the program. Other restrictions apply.
Legoland is Free On Your Birthday
In celebration of LEGOLAND California's 20th Birthday, kids ages 3-12 can have a celebration of their own with free admission on their birthday!
HOW TO REDEEM:
- Present proof of birth date upon arrival at a LEGOLAND California ticket booth to receive free admission ticket. Forms of valid identification include:
- Original Birth Certificate
- Passport
- Government Issued ID
Original copies only. Photocopies will not be accepted.
- Offer valid for admission from January 1 - December 31, 2019.
