There are a lot of factors to consider when choosing a day camp for your child. Your child's interests, scheduling, and financial cost are all top priorities. My child attended day camp at Encore Creative Arts Camp twice- both winter and summer camp. What I loved about Encore is its convenient location in Kearny Mesa just off CA-163.
Encore offers full day day camp, with after care available, but the best part is the variety of camp courses they offer. My son participated in both their Culinary, and Theatre Camp. He had a few parts in Little Shop of Horrors which the campers performed on a professional stage. I believe the experience of studying lines, performing in front of a live audience, and learning stage direction were invaluable lessons that can be applied to other areas of learning. The best part was that he had fun. At Encore, he also did arts and crafts. That's what Encore Creative Arts Camp promises. "Art Experience" is a collection of all the students' favorite camps. There are daily classes in Performing, Visual, and Media Arts Camps with STEAM as well.
Some of the activities include: Musical Theatre, Mad Scientist, Miniature Craft, Kaleidoscope Arts, Creative Writing & Dance, Recycled Arts, and more!
There are also plenty of outdoor activities so kids won't get restless. It's the perfect balance of classroom and outdoor activities.
Camps 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Early drop off at 8:30, and additional after care programs.
