The Stronghold Announces FREE After School Jiu Jitsu Program For Teens
Stronghold owner and founder Raquel Regno Cusi is starting a dedicated Teen Jiu Jitsu program at the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The gym will sponsor 100+ students with free lessons and uniforms in an effort to give back to the community.
Scholarship includes: 1-Year of Jiu Jitsu classes, Uniform (Gi), Student Starter Package and 1 Tournament Registration.
Raquel Cusi saw a need for teens in the community to have a healthy outlet for their energy. Like many parents, she recognizes that young people are spending too much time online, and not connecting with each other in person, or getting much needed exercise!
My own child has studied Jiu Jitsu at The Stronghold. He not only learned self-defense and fitness, but he felt at home, and made friends there. He has participated in their camps, classes, and The Stronghold's stellar homeschool program. The Stronghold is more than a gym, it's a community treasure!
When I heard about this unique scholarship opportunity, I wanted to help spread the word, because of this gyms intense ties to Point Loma. To date, The Stronghold scholarship program has helped numerous kids study Jiu Jitsu for FREE!
