Free Spring Day Camps @ San Diego Public Libraries!

In Person Camps & Online!

Select San Diego Public Libraries offer free day camp for children this Spring. My child has participated in several of these camps in the past. Camps are taught by professional teachers, and they are both educational and engaging for kids. It is time well spent for children. Below is a list of in person and virtual camps offered during Spring break.

In-Person Camps:

  • KinderCamp (parent/guardian is required to attend with the camper)
    • March 28-March 30, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm, Scripps Miramar Ranch Library
    • April 4-April 8, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, Valencia Park/Malcolm X Library
  • Adventures in the Wild
    • March 28-March 30, April 1, 1:00 pm – 2:45 pm, grades 1 – 3, Mira Mesa Library
    • April 4-April 8, 1:00 pm – 2:45 pm, grades 3-6, San Ysidro Library
  • Camp Chef
    • March 28-March 30, April 1, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, grades 4-8, Logan Heights Library
    • April 4-April 8, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, grades 4-8, Scripps Miramar Ranch Library

  • Creative Tales Art Camp
    • March 28-March 30, April 1, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, grades 4-8
  • Energy, Forces, and Flight Camp
    • April 4-April 8, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, grades 4-8
  • Journey to Shark Tooth Island
    • March 28-March 30, April 1, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, grades 4-6
  • Fantastic Fiction Island Discovery
    • April 4-April 8, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, grades 1-3
  • Mad Science Time Machine
    • March 28-March 30, April 1, 10:00 am - 11:00 pm, grades 1-3
  • Spring into Color Art Camp
    • April 4-April 8, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, grades 1-3
