It's Christmas Break! The kids are out of school, and you're looking for activities. Here are 9 days of events your family can enjoy!
Saturday December 18th, 2021 Visit The Enchanted Village!
A holiday tradition continues at the Enchanted Village in Spring Valley, every night until Dec. 22. Thousands of guests will stroll through acres of artfully lit trees and interact with entertainers such as Buddy the Elf, Elsa and Ana, Santa and many more holiday celebrities.
Performances this year include the Full Measure Carolers, Ho Ho Ho Horns, Peninsula Singers, San Diego Choir, San Diego Children’s Choir, Santa Sophia Choir, Sun Harbor Choir, and St. Augustine Percussion Ensemble. A petting zoo will also be available on Saturday and Sunday. The full schedule is available on the website.
There will also be food and drinks available and plenty of photo opportunities with more than 200,000 lights, light tunnels, hundreds of candy canes, interactive displays and other festive decor.

Sunday December 19th, 2021 See Spiderman No Way Home @ Fleet's Giant Dome!

Monday December 20th, 2021 Seas n' Greetings @ The Birch Aquarium
The magic of the holidays meets the magic of the underwater world at Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego during Seas ‘n’ Greetings, a month-long holiday celebration featuring SEAsonal activities for the whole family.
From Dec. 1 to 31, Birch Aquarium is transformed into a winter wonderland. Deck the Hall (of Fishes) and get into the holiday spirit every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Christmas and New Year’s Day). Enjoy fun, festive photo opportunities throughout the aquarium, plus holiday music and an interactive scavenger hunt — complete with prizes for the littlest guests — and holiday card worthy ocean views!
Don’t miss the new jelly experience in the Tode Hall of Fishes, or the opportunity to touch juvenile sharks and other intertidal animals on Preuss Tide Pool Plaza.
For guests looking to get a head start on holiday shopping, Birch Aquarium’s Gift Shop offers a unique collection of ocean themed gifts including toys, apparel, home decor and accessories along with Birch Aquarium and Scripps Institution of Oceanography branded items.
For the first time this holiday season, Birch Aquarium has an online store where ocean lovers across the country can purchase ocean themed gifts. The store can be found online here.
All holiday activities are included in admission, which is $24.95 for adults, $19.95 for children ages 3 to 17. Members and Children 2 and under are free. Annual memberships are also available and make great holiday gifts.
Reservations are required to visit and face coverings are required for everyone 2 and up indoors and outdoors regardless of vaccination status.
Tuesday December 21st, 2021 Got Little Ones? Take Them To The Fandory Factory While You Get A Break!
Fandory Factory is a family friendly co-work space with town themed playground on site and private offices and meeting rooms. Parents can focus on work while their kids play at the onsite playground.
Fandory Factory is now open Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Outside of these hours private sessions are available, just need to make an appointment at www.fandory.com
Wednesday December 22nd, 2021 Visit Winter Wonder Holiday Spectacular @ Belmont Park!
Belmont Park is bringing families and friends together for the holiday season with its third annual Winter Wonder holiday spectacular.
On weekends in December, our 96-year-old beachside park will offer a day-and-night experience, featuring 15-foot-tall holiday-themed sculptures, Christmas Tree Farm, Seasonal Character appearances, Holiday Movie Nights, face painting and balloon art; plus, Illuminated Winter Nights when the sun goes down.

Thursday December 23rd, 2021 See Toy Trains From Christmas Past @ The San Diego Model Railroad Museum
This holiday season, the San Diego Model Railroad Museum invites you to enjoy six model railroad exhibits, including a fully decorated Toy Train Gallery inspired by Christmases past.
The museum, located in the heart of Balboa Park, is open to train lovers of all ages from Thursday - Sunday from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Visit www.sdmrm.org to purchase your admission tickets or donate to the museum.
