Botanic Wonderland 2021-Read Our Review!

By Courtney Daly-Pavone December 16, 2021

Botanic Wonderland @ San Diego Botanic Garden is a holiday tradition in our family!

Botanic Wonderland is a great way to celebrate the season in a festive way. It's not just twinkling lights in a magical garden, it's carolers, Santa Claus, food trucks, and gift shops!

We had so much fun strolling through the Botanic Garden in the moonlight, listening to live music. My son still loves the treehouse which is open at night, and fully lit with dazzling holiday lights. He was surprised to see Santa at the treehouse. Little ones can even write letters to Santa. There's an open space where kids can run and play. There are fire pits, and adirondack chairs by a gazebo where carolers perform.

You really feel Christmas here! The night we were there it was a chilly night perfect for creating a holiday atmosphere. We got in the spirit!

The San Diego Botanic Garden is a special place to visit 365 days a year, but at Christmas time, this 37 acre urban oasis is a whole new garden experience. Don't miss seeing it this season!
