Your child's first report card is in the mail. Maybe their teacher suggested a parent teacher meeting to discuss their grades. You might be a parent that helps your child with their homework, or perhaps you might need a tutor. Thankfully, there are FREE Services for every age and stage to help your child have a successful school year.

SAT & ACT test preparation through a partnership between the San Diego Public Library, UC San Diego Extension Pre-College Programs, and Cal-SOAP to help high school students prepare for college exams and navigate the college process.
PLEASE FOLLOW ALL THREE OF THESE IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL REGISTRATION!
1.) REGISTER first below through the Library Do NOT share an email with a sibling you must use separate emails addresses and must register under the student's name (not parent's). No school emails, please.
2.) After the application period closes, you will receive an email with a link and instructions for how to SELF-ENROLL through the Extension website. If you do not self-enroll using the instructions, you will not be registered in the class!
3.) Within 24-48 hours, you will be receiving another email from UCSD Extension through "Canvas" with the information to be able to take the pretest and access the Admit One series. Please check the email that you are registering with. To Register Email: email@example.com

Invertebrates like octopuses, jellyfish and squid have fascinating adaptations for life in their ocean ecosystems. Students will observe sea stars, sand dollars and moon snails, to name a few. Students will also consider what kind of invertebrate they would like to be. They will test their knowledge by playing a game that rewards those with the best mastery of vocabulary from the class.
