10 July 4th Fireworks Hot Spots!

This Sunday is July 4th! Independence Day may have crept up on us, it's been a turbulent year. Maybe you are planning a relaxing day at the park, beach, or in your backyard, or perhaps an incredible fireworks display at one of the many venues listed below. Most likely you will welcome a return to "normal". Unlike 2020, we have many great places to see fireworks around San Diego. Happy 4th!

July 4th starting at 9:00 PM. Check out the link below for virtual event information www.bigbayboom.com This free fireworks show is the largest San Diego Firework Displays in San Diego county. Most years, the fireworks displays will be located on 4 barges off of Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Embarcadero and Seaport Village/Coronado Landing. Pick your favorite spot near Seaport Village, Coronado Ferry Landing, North Embarcadero, Marina District, South Embarcadero, Shelter Island and Harbor Island. Be prepared, more than 750,000 people are estimated to be in the crowd. Music simulcast on 1090 AM or 105.7 FM. Ferry Landing Concert: 2 to 5 p.m. July 3.

Art in the Park: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 4 at Spreckels Park, Sixth Street and Orange Avenue.

Navy Leap Frogs Demonstration: 2 to 3 p.m. July 4 at the Golf Course near Glorietta Bay.

*FREE El Cajon July 4th San Diego Fireworks and Celebration 2021

Location Kennedy Park, 1675 E Madison Ave., El Cajon Google map

July 4 celebration from 1 pm - 9:30 pm and fireworks at 9:00 PM. Arrive early to claim your spot. Vendors will serve food starting at noon, but you may bring your own too. Music starts at 3:00 pm.

*FREE Old Fashion July 4th Celebration in Old Town San Diego 

Location Old Town State Historic Park

Date and Time July 4 from 11:00 AM to 4 PM

Time for some old fashioned fun in Old Town San Diego's Fourth of July celebration with parade around the plaza, crafts and activities of early San Diego. Get ready for a pie eating contest and egg toss. Afterwards, you can enjoy fireworks at night at one of the other locations in San Diego.

Date and Time July 4 2021 festivities from 10 AM to 4 PM and fireworks at Poway High School at 9:00 PM (6:00 - 10:00 activities).

Old Fashioned San Diego Fourth of July activities at Old Poway Park with games, crafts and food. Free admission. Fireworks show will be a 9 PM at Poway High School. Fireworks display costs $5 admission at the gate (children 11 and under free) as a fundraiser for the school. Date and Time 10:00 – 11:00 AM parade, and tentative 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM festival

Enjoy a San Diego 4th of July parade and festival at Scripps Ranch. Community groups, high school marching bands, and more will entertain you as you watch the parade. Afterwards, enjoy an Ice Cream Social at Hoyt Park. Food, drinks and games. Free admission to the festival.
