Birch Aquarium Camp is more than a camp, it's educational fun! It's a place where kids can learn about oceanography in an engaging way. How do I know? My son attended Birch Aquarium Camp and learned new things daily. He made friends, and felt like he was a part of a bigger world that included marine animals, and he developed respect for the environment.
What My Child Loved About Camp @ The Birch Aquarium
Field Trips-He went on field trips near the aquarium to see tide pools, and had an outing at Scripps Pier.
Final Exhibition- Children presented their studies, observations, and final work to parents on their last day. My son loved showing me around the exhibit that the campers helped create. There was an Emperor Penguin, fossils, and live marine animals to view. The kids made posters, maps of their locations, and crafts. It was highly educational, and confidence boosting for my child who was clearly learning in this specialty camp program.
Birch Aquarium Camp has highly trained staff, a safe and nurturing environment, an educational curriculum, and extended hours are available.
