Giuseppe the Elf is coming to Little Italy and we cannot wait to see what he discovers!  All month long he will be popping up in different areas of our neighborhood to join in the holiday fun. Have Your Child Write a Letter To Santa

Your full name and address should be written in the upper left corner, followed by a first-class stamp in the upper right corner. Letters requesting clothes and shoes should include sizes and colors. Letters requesting toys, games and books should be specific. Letters must be dropped off by December 13th to get a response from Santa! To help get letters to him quickly, the whole famiglia will be able to drop off their letters at our Big Red Mailbox located at Piazza della Famiglia. To prepare your letter for Santa, his mailing address should be placed in the middle of the envelope.

 Call Santa With Google

Use your Google Assistant and Google Home device to call Santa! All you have to say is "Hey Google, call Santa" and you'll get to hear about how Santa Claus is busy rehearsing for a musical concert—but he only knows one song and needs your help! Kids can also make a call on a Smart Display to see the all the fun album covers from the North Pole bands.


See The Nutcracker in Your Car @ The Del Mar Fairgrounds

On Saturday, December 19, you can watch a live performance of City Ballet’s The Nutcracker at Del Mar Fairgrounds from your car. San Diego Botanic Garden -Garden of Lights

The San Diego Botanic Garden lights up for the holidays after dusk, complete with new decor, hot beverages, food, and more. The nonmember cost is $18 for adults and $5 for children 3–12. December 2-6, 9-13, 16-23, and 26-30 from 5 – 8:30 p.m.

Visit The Holiday Market & Trail @ Petco Park

Guests at The Holiday Market & Trail will be able to partake in the festive winter holiday spirit by participating in a socially distanced, one-way trail at Petco Park’s Gallagher Square featuring various local and European-themed artisan shops, magical walk through lighting displays, seasonal character favorites, food and beverage, unique crafts and gifts and more.The Holiday Market & Trail at Petco Park will open on Thursday, December 3 and go through Sunday, December 6 before resuming on Wednesday, December 9 and running through Wednesday, December 23. Operating hours for the market & trail will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on each event date. On the trail, guests will be able to pick up the perfect stocking stuffer or handcrafted holiday gift for everyone on their list from one of the many artisan huts that will be on-site. Items that will be available for purchase include glass ornaments, wooden figurines, gingerbread houses, oils, soaps and much more. Festive foodies will also be able to indulge in their holiday cravings by sipping some cider, mulled wine or tasting some delicious bratwurst, shortbread, or other seasonal treats that will be available. Themes for the dazzling walkthrough lighting displays illuminating the December sky include Candyland, Winter Wonderland, Home for the Holidays and Artisan Workshop.

Tickets for The Holiday Market & Trail at Petco Park start at $10 for kids and $14 for adults.
