Free Educational Museum Reopens!

Visit The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum

By Courtney Daly-Pavone October 27, 2020

We love the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum in Miramar. This free museum has 48 marine aircraft on display outdoors. Plus indoor exhibits featuring the accomplishments of marines throughout history with original artifacts.

If your child loves planes, the military, and history than this is the place!

We went as a family, and truly enjoyed talking to the docents, many of them are veterans. They also have a scavenger hunt for kids, and on select dates there are open cockpit days where families can take pictures inside the aircraft.
