Back to School Snack Time

Kids Learn Independence By Making Their Own Meals

By Kraft/Heinz Sponsored Article September 9, 2020

It’s hard to believe school is back in session, but these days, school looks different with distance learning. My growing child was driving me nuts asking for snacks ever since we began home school last spring. Even the daily task of lunch quickly became overwhelming while juggling work and lessons.

To make lunch and snack time easier, I picked up Bagel Bites, Capri Sun, and Jell-O Chocolate Pudding Snack this week at Walmart. My son was super excited, and I got a break from my child’s constant trips to the kitchen, leaving the fridge door open and begging me to make him a snack. Now he can help himself by putting a few Bagel Bites in the toaster oven or microwave, grabbing a Capri Sun, or for dessert he can enjoy Jell-O Brand Pudding!

I grew up with these brands. I know that my child’s appetite is satisfied, and he feels independent preparing his snacks on his own!

Back-to-school may look different this year, but one thing that is still for sure is lunch. Trying to figure out what your kids will eat doesn't have to be stressful. Instead, make it teachable!  Kraft Heinz and Walmart want to help empower kids of all ages to help make their own lunches. The products are kid- friendly, easy to prepare and best of all, satisfying!
