Select San Diego Libraries Reopen!

Connect In Person or Online!

By Courtney Daly-Pavone September 1, 2020

Select San Diego Public Libraries officially reopened this week. Libraries are more than books, they offer free classes, and social services for those in need.

As a mom, the library has been my mother ship for years. It's where we go weekly to pick up books and DVD's. My child takes violin lessons, STEM classes, art lessons, and participates in many social events like movie screenings, petting zoos, Lego workshops and parties! We miss our librarians and instructors.

I am overjoyed to share the news of select libraries reopening.

Scripps Miramar Branch Library, Balboa Library, Logan Heights Library, Valencia Park Malcolm X Library, University Heights Library, Serra Mesa-Kearny Mesa, and Central Library are now open. SDPL Virtual also offers classes online.
