Cirque Du Soleil Ovo

At Viejas Arena March 5th-8th!

By Courtney Daly-Pavone March 6, 2020

Robin Williams once said, "Spring is nature's way of saying Let's Party!"

Cirque Du Soleil's OVO, which means “egg” in Portuguese, invites the audience to a colorful ecosystem where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love all while dancing, climbing, and performing acrobatic stunts! When a mysterious egg appears in their midst, the insects are awestruck and intensely curious about this iconic object that represents the enigma and cycles of their lives.

OVO is comprised of 52 performing artists from 14 countries specializing in many acrobatic acts. OVO is now a Cirque du Soleil classic. It features over 10 different high level acrobatic acts such as Foot Juggling & Icarian Games, Hand Balancing, Contortion, Aerial Straps, Slackwire, Russian Cradle and a signature final act mixing Trampoline, Tumbling & Rock-Climbing.

We loved every minute of the show which is so apropos for Spring. The music and choreography were superb! Every Cirque Du Soleil show is unique, mind blowing, and something you just have to see for yourself!
