2020 Marines in Flight Student Art Contest

The Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation is now accepting submissions for the 2020 Marines in Flight Student Art Contest. The Student Art Contest gives students a platform to express their artistic and creative skills as they learn about U.S. and aviation history and the contributions, courage and sacrifices of the men and women who designed, built, flew and maintained these iconic aircraft as well as the missions they completed.

All students in grades 6-12 in San Diego County plus all military dependents in grades 6-12 who reside in the Southwest District are eligible to participate. Winning submissions will receive a cash prize and have their art displayed in the galleries of the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum.

Entries are due by April 6, 2020
