Discounted tickets are for Celebrate Carlsbad Day, and 100% of proceeds from every ticket purchase helps provide robotics to 2nd-grade students in Carlsbad public schools.

Free Military Family Arts Workshop

March 5th 4pm to 5pm  Point Loma/Hervey Library 3701 Voltaire St. San Diego, CA 92107

The workshop allows military families to express their feelings about what being a military mom, dad or child means to you. Using the technique of collage, use a variety of art supplies and images from magazines to make your design on a paperboard face form. Selected artwork will be on display at the Point Loma/Hervey Branch Library. Registration required.


Free Yoga/Mindfulness Class with Zen Totz @ PL Library

Bring your child to The Point Loma Library's Community Room every 1st Saturday of the month to meet ZenTotz Founder Jenny Blackwood. Kids will practice mindful movement, play enriching games, and develop creativity through art!

Zen Totz believes it is crucial to lead kids through mindfulness practices. When we teach children to be resilient and compassionate, they will grow up to shine their lights with greater consciousness and love for all other beings.


Free Small Fry Drive in Movie & Craft

Rev your engines and get the popcorn! In this program, children will make their own “cars” from cardboard boxes. After the decorating is done, kids can sit in their new vehicles to watch a movie.  Registration is REQUIRED for those who want a box to decorate. No registration is needed to enjoy the movie. Recommended for preschool and early elementary ages.
