HalGLOWeen 2019 @ The San Diego Zoo
Do you want to experience thrills and chills? The zoo is always a place to learn in a fun way, and during the month of October it transforms into a Halloween playground. We went to the zoo during the day, and stayed through the night for HalGLOWeen.
Here's What You Will Experience @ HalGLOWeen
The Bubble Dance Party- Outdoor disco with plenty of bubbles takes place 5-9 pm @ Hua Mei Cafe.
The Skeleton Band- This live band will play spooky tunes 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 pm @ The Wedgeforth Bowl.
Boo Crew- Meet zoo characters in their costumes for photos and fun 5-9 pm on Front Street .
Boolahoops- Grab a hula hoop and join the kids as they hula to the hits! 5,6,7, & 8 pm @ Wedgeforth entrance.
Featured Creatures- Meet amazing animals and their keepers! Front Street Stage: 5, 6, and 7 pm. Also takes place at Africa Rocks Stage: 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30 pm.
Funky Monkeys- This dance crew will be jamming to the hits @ Hua Mei Cafe 5:15, 6, 6:45, 7:30, and 8:15 pm
Python Path- Take a mysterious walk through the reptile house and hear creepy sounds and walk through fog.
Dr. Zoolittle's Tricks or Treats- Expect some magic, storytelling, and go for a stroll on the zoo's famous cupcake walk with Dr. Zoolittle. 5, 6, 7, 8pm Africa Rocks Stage.
Spooky Revue-Acrobats and trapeze artists perform in glow in the dark costumes 5, 6, 7, 8 pm behind Sydney's Grill.
Dusty Keys Tunes From Beyond- What could be more apropos than live organ music? Listen to creepy tunes 5-9 pm @ The Boardwalk Beer Garden.
San Diego Zoo Rock Radio- Live DJ keeps the autumn tunes rocking! 5-9 pm Front Street.
4-D Theater: Happy Family- Experience the fast-paced, magical mayhem as the Wishbone family attempts to reverse the spell that an evil witch places on them.
HalGLOWeen takes place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, now thru Oct. 27, 2019, and is included with paid admission to the zoo.
Don't Forget Kids Are Free in October!
Children 12 and under can visit the zoo for free in October when they are accompanied by a paid adult.
